We’re Different.
And That’s the Point.

Meet the legal team that sees things in a new way…

Eve Rachel Markewich

A cracker-jack litigator, Eve has been practicing law since 1988. For more than 25 years, she has tried cases involving contested probate, accountings, breach of fiduciary duty, turnover and countless other matters that arise in trusts and estates proceedings. Her myriad matters also include defending claims of employment and housing discrimination, enforcement of letters of intent among business parties, enforcement of oral contracts and enforcement of riparian rights.

In numerous instances, Eve has been successful convincing the Court to grant summary judgment in her client’s favor, or to dismiss the case. In addition, she has briefed and argued numerous appeals. Equally important, Eve’s years of experience, and her excellent reputation, allow her to bring cases to mediation or to otherwise negotiate successful settlements.

Eve is active in Bar Associations, having served as Vice Chair of the Estate Litigation Committee of New York State Bar Association, and co-chair of a subcommittee relating to pre-mortem probate. She has written many articles on trusts and estates law, and served as faculty for numerous legal education programs. Her pro bono work includes serving on the Grievance Committee of the Appellate Division, First Department.

Eve was educated at The Dalton School, Harvard College and Columbia University School of Law, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

Lawrence M. Rosenstock

Lawrence M. Rosenstock has been practicing law in New York City for over 40 years. He is known as a quick and successful litigator who thinks on his feet, and can approach problems in innovative and unique ways.  Larry’s willingness to look at matters from unusual angles makes him his clients’ first recourse for resolving difficult problems.  He is insistent on obtaining the right result for his client, and gives no quarter in that regard.

Larry has lectured on commercial and Surrogate’s Court litigation issues.  He is also actively engaged in community affairs.  He is a Democratic District Leader from the Upper East Side  and for many years has been a member of the New York County Democratic Judiciary Committee, where he strives to maintain Manhattan’s exemplary mode of choosing judges in a fair and impartial manner.

Larry is a graduate of University of Rochester and New York University, School of Law where he served as an Associate Editor of the Annual Survey of American Law.
